Moose is a 6 month old purebred male golden retriever puppy. Moose was living in a townhouse with no yard, and was confined to a crate a large portion of each day while the owners went to work. He was difficult to housebreak because no one was home during the day to train him. He was surrendered to Joshua’s House to find a new home and a better life. Moose still needs vetting and neutering, and currently has an appointment on October 2. He will be available about a week later after he heals from the neuter. Moose is still considered a puppy, so will need training. Moose will require a fenced yard, so he can sniff and explore his surroundings. Because of his background, a human must be home the majority of the day to facilitate his potty training. He would prefer no young children at this time, due to him jumping and possibly knocking them down. If you meet these requirements, please submit an application.
